ReconPro Installation and Support
ReconPro is very easy to install. A user can be up and running on the system in
under thirty minutes.
Customers can select any cell phone or PDA running Windows Mobile from the vendor
of their choice. AutoMobile Technologies does not sell the hardware, although the
company can recommend a choice of devices.
Installation of the ReconPro software on the mobile device is very easy.
- While logged on to the mobile device, go to the web site address (url) provided
by ReconPro as part of the system licensing;
- Download the ReconPro mobile software onto the mobile device;
- Enter the activation code that has been provided to you on the screen of the mobile
device;
- The mobile device is now ready for use.
The second part of the ReconPro system is the software that runs on AMT servers
accessible from any laptop or desktop computer connected to the internet. AMT is
responsible for all software updates, system monitoring, backups, and all other
IT tasks.
Once the initial company information has been set up in the system, a user can access
the ReconPro Back Office from any computer connected to the Internet by using the Web
browser and provided login and password.
It is rare for users to have questions after the initial setup and early usage.
However, if software questions arise, customer support is available as part of the
service contact.
A live support representative is available every business day from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Pacific time.
Any hardware problems should be directed to the hardware vendor or the support service
that has been selected.
